Carrotene IPMP™ Quick Dry Pore Tightening Clay Mask

Awesome clay mask!

I primarily use this on my T-zone and it's awesome. I used to think that clogged pores was just a part of life and you could only really get rid of them if you had the money for regular spa treatments & facials. But this in combo with the double cleansing has been a game changer. Have not tried something from Aprilskin that I didn't like!

Super High-Quality Product!!

I had read reviews on the APRILSKIN Carrotene IPMP™ Quick Dry Pore Tightening Clay Mask that talked about how it really exposes the pores on your face, and it sure does!! I have HUGE pores and have always had issues with extremely oily skin and acne all my life, and just within the past week or so I started using APRILSKIN products and can attest that they are indeed working very well in clearing my complexion (and my wife agrees). I still have a ways to go before my complexion is fully clear and my pores have tightened and decreased to a size they should be, but I am starting to see that I have less oil on my face than I used to already! Using the APRILSKIN Carrotene IPMP™ Quick Dry Pore Tightening Clay Mask product is very easy. Another reviewer had mentioned they liked using the Jelly Brush (which I did try since it was a free gift with my Real Calendula Peel Off Mask purchase... another APRILSKIN product I really like, and which the Jelly Brush works great with), but it goes on a little too thick for me using that tool, so I like using my fingers instead (and can easily get it into every area that needs it). Other reviewers mentioned that the product really shows you just how big your pores are, and that is 100% true. Some of my pores are somewhat smaller, and some are huge, but all of my pores are really too large and really attests to the fact that they are the reason (in part) behind my excessively oily face. Putting the clay mask on is simple, and you can definitely feel it tighten your face as it dries. You can definitely see visually just how big your pores are (as well as the oil being drawn out of those pores), and removing it is actually easier than I thought it would be, too. I has a very refreshing feel with a wonderful slight scent of oranges, and does its job very quickly (I even leave it on longer than the suggested 3 minutes as it's so great in ******* up the excess oil on my face). In rinsing the product off your face you'll find that, as clay is, it's very slippery so a nice soft wash cloth or the APRILSKIN Deep Cleansing Microfiber Facial Puff does wonders in removing it. However, I have tried other clay mask products before and the clay used in this product is of an extremely high grade. With other products I could feel a slight "grittiness" in the clay, or were nothing more than a regular mud pack that was not effective for me at all, but with APRILSKIN's high-quality clay mask product you can actually feel AND see its effectiveness! As I just started using the APRILSKIN Carrotene IPMP™ Quick Dry Pore Tightening Clay Mask a week ago, so no doubt I'll surely be posting an update to this review in the future (and will see if I can't include an updated picture, too), but I can honestly say it will definitely be included in my regular routine in getting my complexion into the shape I have always wanted it to be in! Noticed a difference

I was so excited when I saw that AprilSkin had released a carrot themed clay mask! So far I have been loving it. I've been using it for about a week now, and my skin looks a lot smoother and blemishes (active acne and redness from acne scars) have begun to fade. The smell of the mask is really good. It's similar to the carrotene serum. For application, the jelly brush is okay, but I prefer to use my fingers. It goes on smooth, and a light layer is all you really need. I leave it on for around 8 minutes or so. To wash it off, water is okay but I use a little cleanser to help it wash off easier (I like the calendula cleanser for this). Then finish up with the carrotene toner pads, vitamin c serum, and carrotene serum. I will continue to use this regularly! I recommend giving it a try if you're on the fence.

Really great oil absorbing product

I have been fighting acne, oil, clogged pores, etc. for 35 years (yes, I am a 45 year old fighting pimples and wrinkles). The Aprilskin products have become my go-to products because they help with acne without over-drying or irritating my skin. This mask in particular is so great because not only does it absorb oil and help keep skin clear, it is fast to use and a little product goes a long way. Even my grouchy skin can handle using it multiple times a week. My pores are much less clogged and my makeup looks much nicer because of these products. If Aprilskin ever adds a gummage exfoliator to the orange line, I will be the first to buy it.

It’s pretty good

Lovely product !!

Started to notice results after my first use, it made my skin feel insanely smooth and soft; i did not notice any dryness or negative feelings. It does have a sweet smell which I did not expect, similar to Froot Loops ?? Love the product either way <3

Even after the first use, I noticed how my pores looked smoother and smaller.

Doesn't work for me although it makes my akin smooth after while using it and washing it from my face doesn't even work.

crazy clay mask !!

super light consistency and it's fast drying! it really does take just 5 mins. wow. i used it for the first time yesterday night. shocked by how clean my face felt afterward. just don't forget to add back that hydration. overall, a great clay mask, perfect for oily skin.
